During the weekends before and after Thanksgiving our local wineries will be throwing open their doors to host open houses. Many Heart of Willamette Wineries as well as independent wineries in our area will be celebrating Thanksgiving and the end of the harvest season with special events. Expect live music, wine tasting, plenty of fun and excellent Oregon wine for everyone.

Join Airlie Winery for their annual Thanksgiving Open House Nov. 29-Dec. 1 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate the holiday. Their $15 tasting flight will be accompanied by a plate of light hors d’oeuvres.

Join Bluebird Hill Cellars for a special Thanksgiving weekend on Nov. 23-24 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 29-Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. They'll have seated tastings outdoors on their covered and heated front porch and under their tasting room canopy. Compton Family Wines will host a Weekend Barrel Tasting Experience on the weekends before and after Thanksgiving, Nov. 23-24 and Nov. 29-Dec. 1, 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Barrel tastings will start on the hour, with the last tasting at 4 p.m.

Fullerton Wines is hosting the Winery Comedy Tour in their Corvallis location on November 30 at 7 p.m. This night will feature comedians whose witty humor will leave you in stitches.
Tickets are $15 each up to two days before the show, $17 each up to one day before the show, and $20 on the day of the show. Buy tickets.
