Visit Corvallis Mission: Enhance Corvallis’ prosperity by elevating its visitor economy.
To accomplish this mission, we inspire, educate and engage people to come and experience Corvallis for themselves. We do this by promoting the good things Corvallis offers and assisting with projects/programs to enhance the experience for people who work, live and play here.
The members of Visit Corvallis Board of Directors commit to:
- Attend the new board member orientation.
- Serve a minimum of one three-year term.
- Attend at least 7 board meetings held on the fourth Thursday of the month from 9:00 – 10:00 am. (The November and December meetings are combined into one meeting in early December.)
- Participate in one board committee. On average, participating on a committee is a time commitment of approximately an hour per month.
- Participate in strategic planning.
- Become familiar with Visit Corvallis programs and advocate for the organization.
