The OSU Center for the Humanities presents moderated book club conversations on Saturday, January 18th and Saturday, January 25th from 2-3pm of Elizabeth Mehren’s I Lived to Tell the World: Stories from Survivors of Holocaust, Genocide, and the Atrocities of War. The book presents thirteen inspiring profiles of men and women who have fled from Rwanda, Myanmar, Bosnia, Syria, and more to make new homes in Oregon. Drawn from hours of interviews and oral histories, these personal stories of resilience also weave in historical, cultural and political context.
Copies of the book will be available to check out from the 2nd floor reference desk, while supplies last.
