Celebrate the 11th annual Independent Bookstore Day at Grass Roots Books & Music's new location!

There will be four local authors signing books from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., refreshments, and the ever-popular Raffle for Genre Baskets of Books. You'll also enjoy 20% off all jigsaw puzzles and a free ARC book with every $15 purchase.

Author Meet & Greet Schedule

• 11:30 a.m.: Dave Buchanan from Tyee Winery with his poetry book, Banking Memories. He will recite a few poems in honor of National Poetry Month.
• 12:30 p.m.: Cody D. Campbell, Echoes of the Arcane. Cody has just launched his new Sci-Fi Fantasy collection and his publishing house Wraithwood Press.
• 1:30 p.m.: Lorraine Anderson, Slow Cook Solar: Sun-Baked Summer Meals Good For People And Planet. Lorraine is on a mission to mainstream solar cooking in the US.
• 3 p.m.: Gabi Snyder with her new children's title, Look. Beautiful diorama illustrations that show if you really look, you never know what the world might give you to see.
