Event Submission Guidelines
- Events must be happening in Benton County, Oregon.
- Events must be open to the public.
- Events must have wide appeal to visitors coming from outside a 50-mile radius of Corvallis.
- We do not list private events, events happening outside of Benton County (with rare exceptions), political events, club or organization meetings, classes, community networking events, or similar events.
- For community-oriented events, we suggest listing your events with the community calendars at the Corvallis Gazette-Times, KEZI, and/or the Corvallis Advocate.
Photo Guidelines
- Photos should be .jpgs or .pngs.
- Photos should be a minimum of 1200 pixels wide by 800 pixels tall.
- Photos should use minimal to no text.
- You must have the proper permissions and licensing to use and share the photo you submit. If you are in doubt as to the size, quality, and/or licensing of a photo you wish to use, please skip submitting a photo. We'll find one for you.
We reserve the right to refuse submitted events. We will lightly edit events for grammar/spelling/punctuation, or to turn first-person descriptions into third-person descriptions, or for taste. Details of events (time, date, ticket pricing, etc.) will be posted as-is, so please make sure they're correct upon submitting the event.
After submitting, your event will be held in a queue until we can review it for publishing. We check the queue several times during our work week.
