Easter Weekend in Corvallis, Oregon

Easter Weekend in Corvallis, Oregon

Winery Tasting Hours: Friday & Saturday

It looks like we’re going to have some amazing weather to look forward to this weekend, plus plenty to do before we settle in for Easter Sunday.

Check out two great art exhibits – the Howland Community Open and Sandy Rokoff-Lizut and Alana Springer-Kenagy – this afternoon at the Arts Center. Later this evening, stop in at WineStyles or First Alt South to try some wines, or take in the Hundere Lecture featuring Anne Fadiman at OSU.

The Chintimini Kennel Club AKC Dog Show opens Saturday (and runs through Sunday), or you can stop in to the Winter Market. The Temporary Artists’ Guild Art Sale is tomorrow, too. There are two Easter egg hunts in the morning – at First Baptist and the River Center – and later in the afternoon, the Mod Pod is hosting Bunny Dayz, which features rabbit education and adoption and benefits the Heartland Humane Society. Later in the evening, WineStyles has their “Six for $60″ wine tasting.

On Easter Sunday, FireWorks is having an Easter brunch with David Rogers, and an Easter dinner with Gina Machovina.

Have a great weekend, everyone, and Happy Easter!
